Zoe Quinn Stevens Zoe is a graduate of the School of Hard Knocks. Having lived on the streets for roughly eight years, she's learned to take care of herself. Living like this, she has developed a simply strategy for survival: always look out for #1. This means she is not afraid to walk away from anything or anyone that might compromise her safety. This is not to say, however, that she shies away from people. Zoe can be pleasant enough, though most find her sarcastic nature and distant bearing to be a hard shell to crack. Keeping her head low has been a major factor in Zoe's ability to go unnoticed in this crazy world of super powers and secret agents. She's not stupid, and so won't use her abilities to do anything that will get her noticed. Small time thievery is the name of the game, and Zoe only plays when she has to. Be that as it may, she can't help but be a little curious about those like her, and wary of those that hunt them. Zoe spends a good deal of time at public libraries reading up on online news reports about the Titans and the D.T.R.C., but her trust issues stops her from actively seeking anything out. FriendsYou'd be hard pressed to find anyone that Zoe might call a friend. It's simply a luxury she can't afford. With major trust issues, Zoe prefers to keep everyone at a distance. No entaglements means no responsibilities. No responsibilities means survival. I would love to see Zoe evolve past this, so if you're down for a long and bumpy road, let me know and we can work something out. LoversEven less likely than friendships. If Zoe has trouble with friendship, it'd be fair to say she is straight up afraid of love. The closest one might get is a casual, meaningless physical relationship. And even that wouldn't be something she jumps into quickly. But again, the whole point of this character is to push her beyond her comfort zone, so if we can work something out, awesome. EnemiesEasier than the first to, Zoe might actually make a few enemies. If slighted or betrayed, you better believe you are on this list. Though, to be honest, this list wouldn't exactly be menacing. Rule #1 is self preservation, and that doesn't work so well if she's out actively trying to rain on someone's parade. So, if counted as one of Zoe's enemies, expect her to mostly avoid you at all costs. And maybe steal something of yours if she can get away with it. AcquaintancesHere is where 99% of people are likely to stay, and Zoe is more than happy with this. She knows you, you know her, life moves on. She doesn't host parties, she doesn't do missions. But she might trade gossip with you over a street taco from a food truck and then go on her merry way. Don't try to break down her walls and everything will be shiny.
Zoe is likely to be my only character on this site, as I have a tendency to make many but not really develop them. So she's going to be my project in hard core character development and story making. I haven't decided (and don't yet want to decide) where she will end up as far as Have, Aegis, and D.T.R.C. are concerned. I want to let her story evolve naturally. So, if you'd like to help out with that, please post below and let's get a dialogue going!

Zoe Quinn Stevens -- She might get along with @amelia she might not... so I think we should just throw them as Acquaintances to be and maybe much more of something later...

Louis Gideon and Zoe are kinda similar, a least as far as their past on the street and being all about themselves, and as such I think Louis would show small hints of sympathy toward her. He's completely egotistical but I can see him tossing her a bone here or there, or even belittling her for still being homeless at this point - even moreso if he were to find out about her abilities and her still hiding out. Louis is a tough guy to figure out, he could be just as likely to relate to her as he would be likely to generally hate her.

@amelia - I think Zoe could appreciate Amelia's blunt nature, as she herself is pretty straight forward with her opinions. So while the two might butt heads at times, I think they'd actually be able to find some common ground. If/when they get to the point of talking about powers and whatnot, I know Zoe would think the shapeshifting is cool. Louis Gideon - I think Louis and Zoe could have a really interesting dynamic. I'm thinking he'd both intrigue her and annoy the crap out of her at the same time. It might be interesting to put them in a situation where he does help her out in some way; him "tossing her a bone" as you say. She'd resent the help, insisting that she didn't need it. I can definitely see these two having some good banter.

Daine and Zoe -- I think these two would definitely start out as Acquaintances beings these two aren't afraid of walking away from anything. Daine can walk away as easily as she can stand her ground. Plus with Daine's ability, I can see her running into Zoe. We can see where it goes from there? Unless you had any ideas?

Veralidaine Sarissari - that sounds about right. Zoe can be just about anywhere in the city. Maybe she's in something of a new area, mapping out teleporting spots when they run into each other? If Daine is in an animal form, she could catch Zoe in the act, which would have Zoe pretty vulnerable. But I imagine it's really the only way she'd ever be discovered as being gifted. But if Daine revealed her own ability, Zoe's curiosity of their kind might juuuust be enough to stop her from jumping to somewhere far away lol.

Well it could work either way really. Either Vera could catch Zoe in the act or Zoe could catch Vera in the act. Both could easily happen, lol. So whichever one you decide on could be fun to play with.

Now I've got this scenario in my head of Zoe teleporting and showing up somewhere where Daine is in animal form and the sudden appearance startled Daine enough to make her transform back into human form. And so the both of them are just like O.O
Whatcha think?
